Surviving March Break

The children are on their March Break holidays. It's killing me. The first couple of days, all of them were sick. There was a lot of lying around the house feeling miserable. When I thought it couldn't get any worse, they got better. Then it became a lot of lying around the house whining. Yesterday, I had to get out. We went to Starr Gymnastics.

I took a couple of photos:

Katie - learning how to swing on the ropes
Bethie

Sarah - she held onto that Dora ball almost the entire time

Sarah and Bethie

Katie - she jumped off this a billion times

Sarah "bouncing". That was her favourite thing to do. Dan is the background, falling. It cracked me up.

Bethie

Katie - The world is a stage, and we are her audience

I couldn't believe that Katie jumped into the "foam pool"!

Operation: Knock 'Em Out worked! They were exhausted!

Awesome! Looks like you had a blast and a pretty empty space - lucky! We love it there. That picture of your husband falling just made me laugh out loud haha! Little E holds on to the dora and diego balls when he is there too!

Alicia: There were about 15 kids there, and the ladies running the show said that it was "busy". I don't know why I find it so funny that Dan was falling, but it cracks me up (he's going to be annoyed when he reads this and sees that I've pointed it out!).

We go Friday evenings and there is a minumum of 30 kids there plus parents. This past Friday I counted over 60 kids...it was insane.

Alicia: WOW! That's shocking! We went yesterday at 2:30. There were lots of little kids between the ages of 1-5. I guess we got lucky!

Love that place, although it's pretty much in the past for us now. My friend and I sent our four kids one summer and Eve pointed out that she and her friend Marielle were 'the youngest full-dayers'. What good is camp if you can't get rid of the kids for six or seven hours minimum?

Looks like you had fun! And is it just me or are those twins suddenly looking way too grown up?!

Bibliomama: Know what I love THE BEST about Aylmer? You can ditch your kids for ELEVEN hours for the low price of $7!!!

Lara: Yup, those twinnies grew over night!

Awesome! I especially love the shot of Dan falling in the background.

Heidi: I don't know why it's so funny to see a grown man fall, but IT IS!!!
